Roman Adhikari was born and raised in Udayapur, Nepal, and has always been deeply connected to literature. He moved to the United States more than a decade ago, settling in the vibrant city of New York.

Despite living far from home, his love for the Nepali language and culture has remained strong — his poems are frequently published in Nepali newspapers across America, sharing his unique perspective on life, culture, and the immigrant experience. America Sapana is his second book, a decade in the writing and drawn directly from his own journey.
